The Hydrotech Cloth Filter: Confidence Series is the latest innovation from Veolia. It combines pile cloth media technology mounted on the proven Hydrotech Disc Filter platform. The unique design protects technicians as they perform routine maintenance while also offering predictable operating costs, reliable performance and robust mechanical features. The filter is effective at capturing substances like particulate phosphorus, microplastics and many other contaminants.

How does the Hydrotech Cloth Filter work?
The Hydrotech Cloth Filter: Confidence series works by passing water through the pile filter material that is mounted on the Hydrotech disc filter frame. This unique design allows suspended solids to be trapped in the pile fibers while allowing the filtered water to flow through. Our industry standard cloth media has a nominal particle removal of 5 micron. This enables robust TSS and phosphorus reduction.

Features and benefits
- Engineered to provide optimum health and safety for the user. The parts of the filter requiring routine maintenance have been mounted externally on the filter to provide safe and easy access by technicians.
- Wedged Hem Interchangeable Panel (WHIP) technology . The innovative panel design on the new Hydrotech Cloth Filter results in panels that weigh only 3kgs when wet and allow access to the rear of the panel for cleaning. This results in 80% quicker removal and cleaning of panels compared with other pile cloth media filters and completely eliminates the need for a lifting crane.
- Significantly less plant downtime and site disruption for easy maintenance. Due to quicker panel cleaning and replacement, users will experience far less downtime of their filters. The Hydrotech Cloth Filter can also be combined with the optional Veolia service offer or the Veolia panel leasing offer. This first-of-its-kind model eliminates the need for panel cleaning as a Veolia technician simply replaces the used panel with a clean one when necessary.
- Robust TSS and phosphorus reduction. The Hydrotech Cloth Filter can be used in various applications to reduce suspended solids enabling TSS, COD and nutrient discharge levels aligned with site needs
