A Yorkshire-based speciality chemical company's water treatment plant was unreliable, difficult to support, and costly to maintain. It had a borehole system used for a few processes and an ageing demineralisation plant with obsolete parts. The client wanted to maximise the borehole's use, reduce costs, and supply water to multiple applications.
We recommended replacing the old equipment with two SIRION™ Mega Reverse Osmosis (RO) units. These RO systems remove dissolved inorganics and large dissolved organics, offering savings in power and water consumption. The new installation also included a water softener, chemical dosing, iron removal filter, and a degasser to meet water specifications and reduce operating costs.
