Veolia Strengthens CHP Reliability for Leading Biomass Energy Producer with Targeted Demineralised Water System Upgrade

An ageing demineralised water system was causing reliability issues, costly maintenance and unplanned downtime for a biomass-powered CHP plant. Obsolete equipment and recurring failures were putting operational continuity at risk.

Veolia upgraded the system with a packaged reverse osmosis solution, replacing obsolete RO units and modernising the pretreatment process. The upgrade improved water quality, reliability and efficiency while reducing maintenance demands.
