Based in our Stockton on Tees Office
Permanent, Part-time, 22.5 hours

If so, we have a fantastic opportunity to join our leading, well respected water technologies company, where you will play a pivotal role in working alongside the Purchasing team and being involved in supporting all relevant operational administrative tasks.

Some brief responsibilities of a Purchasing Assistant will include:
Raising purchase requisition orders
Raising stock orders
Maintaining purchase order and shortage reports
Checking order acknowledgements for discrepancies
Maintaining price list database
Liaising with suppliers and internal customers
Making judgements based on the analysis of factual information
Reconciliation of Vendor statements
Assisting internal customers with invoice / PO queries
Regular review of Aged creditor reports and investigation and resolution of credit balances
Ad-hoc duties as required by Credit Control and AP Manager
Answering internal and external queries by telephone and email
General requirements for the role:
Previous purchasing or administrative experience
Strong IT skills - experience of Google suite would be an advantage
Self-motivated and able to work on your own initiative
Able to remain calm under pressure
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
Knowledge of JDE Latis would be preferable
