Nanofiltration membrane technology for removing suspended solids, bacteria and viruses from water.
What is Ultrafiltration?
Our compact skid-mounted ultrafiltration (UF) technologies remove suspended solids, most bacteria and log4 viruses. These systems use ultrafiltration membrane technologies and are predominantly applied for industrial process water and borehole water, as well as recycling/reuse.
Ultrafiltration uses membrane filters with pore sizes of typically 1 to 10 nm, which can remove particles as small as protein macromolecules.
Benefits of Ultrafiltration
Ultrafiltration is an excellent technology for ensuring consistent ultrapure water quality with regard to particles, bacteria and pyrogens.
Water flow is directed straight through the membrane, or in ‘cross flow’ fashion where a portion of the input water flows across the membrane surface to filter out most colloids, enzymes, microorganisms, particles and endotoxins above their rated sizes. Further benefits include:
- Efficient operation
- Lifetime can be extended by a regular high-speed flush
Pure water products to meet international renal dialysis water treatment guidelines.
High-quality water systems for production, process and manufacturing uses.
Total water management solutions for process and wastewater recovery and recycling.
Municipal drinking water systems and management of surface and ground water.
